Prototype chapter – Inclusive and Accessible Learning Experiences

This chapter will tackle the question of how can we use an inclusive design approach to ensure that we are creating truly inclusive and accessible learning experiences for as many people as possible?   
Inclusive design is an approach to design that considers the needs of the widest possible audience, exploring and examining similarities — but also differences — to inform design decisions. 

Biography

Kim is a Service Designer with experience in graphic, product and service design. With a Masters in Design for Business from University of Dundee and 12yrs experience working in the learning and development sector Kim has applied a service design approach in developing products, digital platforms and learning experiences. As well as Service Design Kim is passionate about accessible and inclusive design, she continually works to expand her skills and knowledge in these growing areas. As an experienced design facilitator and educator, she promotes an inclusive approach and believes that this can improve experiences for everyone.
